I had a truly wonderful stay at a charming boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The owners treated me like family and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The room was lovely, with a balcony overlooking the bustling streets. The bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. The hotel is perfectly situated near the waterfront, shops, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the city. Though there were some noise from the nearby bars, the rooms were well insulated, ensuring a good night's rest. The breakfast served each morning was delicious and the late afternoon wine and tapas were a delightful treat. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Vigo.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was fine. In the evening we visited taberna a pedra, set near the hotel. All in all they offer EXCELLENT service. Excellent place for a 1-night stay.
Street was very noisy.

Location: The hotel is in the heart of Casco Vello, the old port area of Vigo. Its central location allows guests to explore the city on foot, with the Contemporary Art Museum and Caixanova just a stroll away.
Parking: The only minor issue I encountered was the parking situation. Getting to the hotel by car required navigating through Vigo's one-way system and a brief stop to lift the bollard at the end of the road.

We had a blast at this hotel! The rooms were fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. The staff made us feel like family and the location couldn't be better. Definitely one of the top three hotels we've ever stayed at.
Felt so comfortable, couldn't find a single thing to complain about.

Puerta Gamboa exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. The recently renovated hotel showcased a high standard of luxury. The service provided by the father and son duo was truly first-class. The son, who spoke English, was incredibly helpful, assisting us with bus schedules and recommending a boat trip to Ons instead of the more touristy Cies. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the old town with easy access to pubs, restaurants, and the harbor for island ferries. We've stayed in five-star hotels around the world, and Puerta Gamboa easily ranks in our top three. We can't wait to return.
Nothing at all! 😊

I had a blast shopping and visiting the local museums, while sipping drinks at the hotel's cafe. The complimentary Wi-Fi was a savior for my social media obsession. And the airport shuttle, coffee shop, and dry cleaning were just cherry on top!
Oh, who needs a good night's sleep anyway? The lovely noise from the bar next door kept me entertained all night long.

I loved that I could stroll to the local museums and shop till I dropped at Gamboa. Plus, I could relax with a drink and snack at the hotel's cafe. So posh!
Oh, the joy of hearing the outdoor bar next door until the wee hours. Music to my ears!

The Christmas atmosphere at the hotel was lovely, with festive decorations and a cozy ambiance. The location was great, right in the heart of the city, making it convenient for exploring and shopping. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and festive.
The room we stayed in was quite small, making it a bit cramped for two people. the noise from nearby bars and restaurants was quite loud, especially during the holiday season when festivities were in full swing.

We had an amazing stay at a small hotel in the city center with outstanding hospitality from the father and son who run it. They were so friendly and helpful, giving us great advice on beaches to visit and even suggesting a lesser-known island for a boat trip. The location was perfect for exploring both the old and new town, and the breakfast and room choices were fantastic.
Breakfast choices could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Unbeatable location in Vigo's port area, close to the heart of the city. Plenty of natural light in each room, with exterior facing views. Convenient amenities such as complimentary wireless Internet access and tour/ticket assistance. Stunning, old granite building with a lovely atmosphere. Business-friendly amenities including phones and free local calls. On-site bar where you can quench your thirst with your favorite drink.
Some noise from the pub below.

During our Easter stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to key attractions and amenities. The two highlights for us were the updated bathrooms and the comfy beds, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
That we found the breakfast to be simple, although it was still enjoyable. there was some noise from a nearby pub on Saturday night, but it didn't keep us awake.
